A Begging Letter

On the 20th of May I and Dancing Daughter will be doing the Race for Life.

We are  doing it in memory of my FIL Walter who lost his battle with lung cancer two years ago in April. We are also doing it in support of Carol a collegue and friend who works with my husband who is in remission from breast cancer.

The C word seems to touch just about everyone at least once in their life. In fact my scarf swap pal has just found out that her son has leukiemia ( prayers and healing thoughts are most welcome).

I hate to ask but I really need to do some fundraising I don't want to ask at work as one of the girls there is running in memory of her mother who lost her battle with cancer only a few months ago, and the rest of the team are trolling hubby's workplace on Carol's behalf.

So I am opening it out to you. Please don't feel obligated, I know that money doesn't grow on trees so I have set my target accordingly - I would like to raise £50 - every little helps in the battle against cancer.
