A while back I knitted up this little Shrug and someone emailed me and asked if I could let them have the pattern.
As I had to write it up to send to them I decided I might as well post it here for the rest of you to use if you so wish

Pattern.
The number of st you cast on will depend on your size a rough guide would be
up to a 34" bust 72st, Up to a 40" bust 81st, Up to 46" bust 90st
Cast on the number of st you need and knit 2 rows stocking st.
Work 30 rows of the lace pattern
Shape for the body:
Cast off 11 st at the beginning of the next two rows
Continue in the lace pattern on the remaining st until work measures 8", 10" or 12". ending with a WS row. Slip the remaining st onto a stitch holder.
knit a second piece in exactly the same way.
you can either join the two pieces using a three needle bind off or graft them together as I did.
Join the under arm seams and using a 5mm circular needle pick up approx 190, 230, 260 st around the perimeter of the shrug and knit in 1x1 rib for 1 1/2" cast off in pattern - sew in ends
Enjoy!
