Once apon a time there was a very clever girl who came up with a really spiffing sock pattern
I had a little bit of yarn left over and my PDA decided it needed a cover to stop it rattling around in my bag so...
One Palm Zire 72 nice and snuggly.
Now the Black Diva (my ipod) was pretty jealous and wanted something Diva-ish to match her image so....
Something black and Diva-ish for the Diva
100% Merino Sock yarn topped off with a few rows of Wendy Chic fun fur.
It is amazing how good the pattern looks in a solid yarn.
All this got me wondering what would it look like as a pair of socks?....
Now all I need is a pair of strappy sandals to show them off.

How fabulous! I love the Diva cover and Diva socks!!
I've started reading a mystery series by Elizabeth George (Inspector Lynley and Sgt Havers) and noticed that one of the more recent books takes place in the Channel Islands. I'm quite looking forward to that one now!

Those Diva socks are fabulous! I haven't yet knit the Jaywalker socks, and I think I'm about the last knitter who hasn't yet. I keep hearing stories of fit issues, and I'm a fearful baby! Heehee.

If my 12 year old saw those socks, she'd throw herself on the floor and insist that she would absolutely *have* to have a pair! And maybe a pair for me, too ;)

I LOVE, love, LOVE the diva i-Pod cover...that is just too cute. And those are the socks of a true glamour puss if ever I saw one. ;-) And finally, I have to say that spring green alpaca silk - OMG - incredible.

All of those are very creative! I especially like the short black ones with the fuzz at the top :). Let me know if you'd like any of these to appear in the gallery!
