I've got me some Gloves!

Yes friends I have finished the gloves from Gathering of Lace and if I say so myself they look pretty good :-)

I'm sorry there is only a picture of the left one on my hand but I have yet to figure out a way to take pictures with my teeth!

Just to prove that there are indeed two gloves here is a picture of both of them ,sImgp0555ans hands :-)

Knitted in Rowanspun 4 ply colour: Temptaion on Aero 2mm DP's.

I am planning a scarf to match using the same lace pattern, probably with a moss stitch edging and it will give me a chance to have a go at some of those cool spirals from Knitting on the Edge.

This weekend promises to pretty abysmal weather wise so I am hoping to use my time profitably and get cracking on DH's Broad street mitten/gloves. I am also going to have a go at starting Frost Flowers and Leaves.

Having read the recent entries on the KAL the start seems to be a bit tricky so I need to find an hour or so of uninterrupted time so that I really concentrate.

Have a lovely weekend whatever you are planning :-)

Oooohhh! I'm just off to look at that book now. Hmm... tempted! Plus, really cool colour of yarn.

Lovely Glovely!

Beautiful! I have enjoyed my gloves and know you'll enjoy wearing yours, too!

They look lovely! I have the same gloves on the needles, from Elann's Baby Cashmere. I'm up to the fingers on the first glove, but I think you've inspired me to get a move on! :)

They turned out so pretty!

Congratulations on finishing your lace gloves -- they turned out beautifully! I admire you for tackling lace gloves for your first glove project.

The gloves turned out wonderful =) I haven't tried doing gloves yet, maybe once I've mastered socks! All your new fiber looks fun, too.

That was fast! Your gloves are beautiful. Your lace adventures are inspiring.
